Endurance - Sassello

After the wash-out at Monte Grosso the month before where torrential rain caused the race to be abandoned at the half-way stage, Meliia returned to try the 60km race again.  Sassello proved to be a beautiful but very technical course with every type of ground from sand to stone, from small winding forest trackes to open mountains, from grass fields to riverbeds and of course some asphalt.

This was not a course made for Meliia and unfortunately she was injured in the trailer on the way over.  We stopped her at half-way and so we will have to wait for another opportunity to tackle the 60km class with her.  But we know that she has got it in her to be a champion, we just need a bit of patience.
