Akhal-Teke Endurance
4-year-old Akhal-Teke star mare Meliia and super promising 4-year-old Akhal-Teke stallion Damysus both made their endurance debut at Alzate Brianza near Como. A difficult course saw Melia place a fine 8th position (but for a rider timing error she would have finished 5th) and Damysus take 3rd place in the non-agonist class. Both horses have now qualified for the 60km class but will have to wait until next year to compete at this distance on account of their young age.
