Endurance - Cazzano di Tramigna

Hilly, rocky ground is good for the wine for which the area around Saove is justly reknowned.  Unfortunately, it does not make for a very straightforward endurance race.   Madjima and Meliia had come to take part in what was meant to be an easy training session in preparation for the Castrezzato race two weeks later.  However, a last minute a change of the circuits (which remained uncommunicated to competitors) and which saw the flat course substituted for 15km of climbs caught everyone by surprise.  Madjima finished the highly demanding course but sadly Meliia had to retire from a race she was psychologically unprepared for.
