A superb set of results for the Akhal Teke team at the Lombardy Cup held in Provaglio D'Iseo in the 30km class.  A 3rd place podium finish for 4-year-old Meliia, a 5th place for 5-year-old Miskhan and a 13th place for Madjima. 

The Lombardy Cup is the last event of the Lombardy endurance season and is a team event.  The strongest horses are fielded and the starting list is typically a roll call of champions.  Indeed apart from Meliia and Miskhan there were no other horses as young as 4 and 5 in the top 10!  Medeus's results are therefore all the more impressive.
