After the wash-out at Monte Grosso where torrential rain caused the race to be abandoned at the half-way stage, Meliia returned to try the 60km race again.  Sassello proved to be a beautiful but very technical course with every type of ground from sand to stone, from small winding forest trackes to open mountains, from grass fields to riverbeds and of course some asphalt.

This was not a course made for Meliia and unfortunately she was injured in the trailer on the way over.  We stopped at half-way and will have to wait for another opportunity to tackle the 60km class with her.
